For hardware related faults such as hard drive, ram, motherboard etc... yes, warranty will be void in most cases. In these circumstances we recommend you contact the manufacturer first. In hard drives case, warranty will be void as manufacturer won't recover lost data, only supply a replacement.
For software related faults, no warranty will be void on the system.

Sometimes computer repair services cannot be completed onsite. In this event, we will give you a fixed quote for the offsite repair of your computer as well as let you know when it will be returned. You will also be kept up-to-date at all times on the progress of your repairs while it is offsite. We do ask you to sign a form, authorising the removal of your hardware to take offsite for repair.

We guarantee our technical expertise - in the event that our technician is unable to fix or diagnose the problem because they do not have the technical expertise to do so, then there is no charge for the service. However, if they diagnose a faulty component which needs to be replaced and you choose not to proceed or decide to source the parts elsewhere, normal charges do apply.

Warranty for service generally is 3 months on parts and hardware and 1 month on software. All new and used parts used in repair of laptops or LCD screens carry 3 months of warranty on labour and parts. All new parts supplied carry a standard minimum of 1 Year manufacturer's warranty.
Usually the answer to this is no. Most programs store files all over your hard drive making it impossible to find and transfer them all. When a reload is necessary, we will install any programs that you bring to us on CD. We can also create a image of your hard drive for backup purposes.
Computers are complicated machines and data loss is therefore always an unfortunate possibility. This is why we are so crazy about all of our customers having appropriate backup solutions in place because it's the only way to really protect yourself from data loss. We highly recommend that you always keep a backup of your critical files so you are never at risk, however, if necessary, we can also offer back-up services before we start any work onsite.

No problem! Please just call us before your scheduled appointment time. If you had a repair job with us, and you wanted to cancel that, it's fine with us as long as we get notice as soon as possible. However, after a quote has been accepted and we have repaired an item, we will still be charging for the full price of quote and no cancellation will be accepted.
Our service fees are strictly time-based meaning you can have our technicians working on multiple computers and/or problems at once without getting hit with extra charges - our technicians are terrific multi-taskers and can therefore often knock over multiple issues simultaneously. Please note that naturally, the service fees do not include hardware or software which we can offer at very competitive prices.
We don't have a callout fee, once you accept our quote on the job, we charge $90 for the 1st hour followed by $20 an hour.
If the immediate problem is completed before the minimum one hour service, our technicians will be delighted to spend the rest of the hour optimising your system and answering any other questions you might have.
We're on-call seven days a week! What's more, we have evening appointments available on weekdays too at no extra charge. Appointments are available Monday through Friday, 8am - 8pm, and weekends, as well as most public holidays, 9am - 5pm local time.
